DINING HALL MENUS
Cheesy pizza, greasy hamburgers and salty fries. Delicious, no? These are the three food items I can guarantee are being served-up at my college dining hall at any hour of the day. What I can't guarantee is that a hot, healthy alternative to these nutritionally deficient choices is being offered as well.

By offering a consistent selection of hot, healthy alternatives to staple menu items, dining halls could help improve the dining choices students make. Moreover, if dining halls made an effort to distinguish the healthful choices from the not-so-healthful choices with clear indicators, students may be prompted to choose healthier selections.
